TOSCA: Sferisterio di Macerata (30-7-1995)
Questo video vuole rendere giustizia alla qualità artistica e vocale della rappresentazione della prima di Tosca, avvenuta in occasione dell’apertura della Stagione Lirica dello Sferisterio di Macerata 1995 (Sovrintendente Claudio Orazi), ma passata alla storia purtroppo per l’incidente occorso al tenore FABIO ARMILIATO alla fine dell’opera.
A 25 anni da quell’episodio, diamo al pubblico l’opportunità di poter ascoltare e vedere le immagini originali di quella straordinaria rappresentazione.
Un grazie a tutti gli artisti, alle maestranze e a tutti i lavoratori dello Sferisterio di Macerata e a Andrea Francalancia che ha effettuato queste preziose riprese.

This video wants to do justice to the artistic and vocal quality of the representation of the premiere of Tosca, which took place on the occasion of the opening of the Opera Season of the Sferisterio of Macerata 1995 (Superintendent Claudio Orazi), but unfortunately went down in history due to the incident that occurred to the tenor FABIO ARMILIATO at the end of the performance.
25 years after that episode, we give the public the opportunity to hear and see the original images of that extraordinary performance.
Thanks to all the artists and o all the workers of the Sferisterio of Macerata and to Andrea Francalancia who made these precious shots.

Nel finale del Video sono presenti le riprese originali dell’incidente occorso al tenore FABIO ARMILIATO a causa degli spari nel momento della fucilazione di Mario Cavaradossi e la parte inedita alla fine della rappresentazione con i soccorsi al tenore (il primo è il maestro Massimo Zanetti e poi gli assistenti alla regia Ivo Guerra e Rodolfo Craja) e il sequestro dei fucili operati dalle forze dell’ordine come riportate anche dalle cronache con alcuni spezzoni e testimonianze televisive (RAI 1 e RAI 3).

In the end of the video there are the original shots of the accident that occurred to the tenor FABIO ARMILIATO due to the shots at the time of Mario Cavaradossi’s shooting on stage and the unpublished part at the end of the representation with the tenor’s aid (the first is the maestro Massimo Zanetti and then the assistants to the direction Ivo Guerra and Rodolfo Craja) and the seizure of the rifles operated by the police as reported also in the chronicles with some clips by national television channels (RAI 1 and RAI 3).
